COURSE INFORMATION
The Charleston Beachathon presented by Land Shark Lager is a spectacular 4 mile
race set along Folly Beach. Along the course, participants will traverse through
8 tropically outrageous beach obstacles before racing to the finish line and celebrating
at the post race Land Shark Luau!

Luau! Luau! After completing the Charleston Beachathon, celebrate at the Land Shark Luau at Rita's Seaside Grille! Rock out to the island sound of a tropical band while enjoying delicious margaritas, pina coladas and ice cold Land Shark Lager!

RACE PACKET
All participants will receive a 2010 Charleston Beachathon t-shirt, free beer*, entry into the post race Land Shark Luau (live concert) and cool giveaways from our sponsors.
*Participants 21 years of age and older will receive one free beer with their entry. Additional beer will be available for purchase. Please be responsible, do not drink and drive.
AGE GROUP DIVISIONS & AWARDS
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Awards will be presented to the following categories:
- Top three overall male and female finishers
- Fastest male and female finisher wearing a grass skirt
- Fastest finisher dressed as a banana
- Fastest finisher wearing a Speedo
Are you participating with a large group of friends, your company or entering the "largest group costume contest"? If so, each team will receive one (1) free entry for every ten (10) participants that register. More importantly, what is your team name?
PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up will be available on the following days. If you have registered online, please allow
24 hours before picking up your race packet. You may pick up race packets for other participants.

VOLUNTEER
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Charleston Beachathon. Volunteers are needed to assist with every aspect of the race, including:
- Race packet preparation
- Course Marshal
- Starting line and finish line support
- Aid station support
- Gear check
- Course set up and tear down
- Race packet pick-up
- Water Stations
- Clean up
TIMING
The Charleston Beachathon will feature the D-Tag timing system. All participants will receive a D-Tag timing device with their bib number.
GEAR CHECK
Gear check will be available at the race site.
PHOTOS
Smile! Professional sports photographer, Action Sports International (ASI) is the official Charleston Beachathon photographer. After the race, photos will be available at www.asiorders.com.

WEATHER POLICY
The Charleston Beachathon will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the event. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
